Job summary

Total Metering Solution Sdn Bhd, established in 1999, is seeking a Sales Engineer (Electrical) in Malaysia. The role blends engineering, technical sales and business development with opportunities in electrical, energy metering and related solutions.

You will build customer relationships, prepare quotations and lead presentations for diverse industries. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics/Automation or related field, has at least 1 year in sales or

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across industries.
• Identify new sales opportunities and develop leads.
• Promote electrical, energy metering, power and related engineering solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations.
• Conduct customer meetings, product presentations and site visits.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, technical and operations teams.
• Follow up enquiries, quotations and projects from enquiry to order.
• Support exhibitions and other customer-facing activities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop and maintain customer relationships across various industries

Identify new sales opportunities and develop leads

Promote electrical, energy metering, power and related engineering solutions

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions

Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations

Conduct customer meetings, product presentations and site visits

Coordinate with engineering, project, technical and operations teams

Follow up sales enquiries, quotations and projects from enquiry to order

Support exhibitions, business development and other customer-facing activities

Travel for customer visits and projects across Malaysia when required

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronic, E&E, Mechatronics, Automation, Instrumentation, Power Engineering or related field

Minimum 1 year experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Engineering or Business Development

Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, as the role involves regular engagement with Mandarin-speaking customers

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Customer-focused, self-driven and results-oriented

Willing to travel across Malaysia

Possess a valid driving license
