Job summary

Fengshi Metal Technology in Malaysia seeks a results-driven sales professional in the sheet metal fabrication sector to develop and maintain relationships with engineers, manufacturers and procurement teams.

You will manage the sales pipeline, prepare quotations, and collaborate with engineering and production to ensure accurate, manufacturable solutions and timely delivery. Prior experience and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in mechanical/industrial engineering, business or related field.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing or related industries.
• Knowledge of industry standards, product specs and customer requirements within fabrication or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers including engineers, manufacturers and procurement teams.

• Provide regular updates on sales performance and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate quotations, manufacturable solutions, and clear project specifications.
• Support customers in understanding sheet metal processes, materials, and fabrication options.
• Work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
• Assist customers in coordinating schedules, timelines, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure smooth communication and handover between sales, engineering, and production departments.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of working experience in sales within sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Familiarity with industry standards, product specifications, and customer requirements within the fabrication or engineering environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
