Job summary

Fengshi Metal Technology in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the sheet metal fabrication industry. You will act as the primary contact for inquiries, prepare quotations, and coordinate with engineering and production to ensure accurate offers and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of working experience in sales within sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Familiarity with industry standards, product specifications, and customer requirements in fabrication or engineering.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including engineers, manufacturers, and procurement teams.
• Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and act as the primary contact for inquiries.
• Regularly follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat or additional business.
• Address post-sale issues related to product quality, delivery timelines, or service concerns.
• Manage the customer sales pipeline, track all sales activities, and report on performance, forecasts, and opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders based on customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure profitable sales deals.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate quotations, manufacturable solutions, and clear project specifications.
• Support customers in understanding sheet metal processes, materials, and fabrication options.
• Work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
• Assist customers in coordinating schedules, timelines, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure smooth communication and handover between sales, engineering, and production departments.
