Job summary

Jora Malaysia is expanding its sales team and seeks dedicated Sales Engineer / Sales Executives to work with clients on sheet metal fabrication, engineering services, automation systems, and industrial MRO supplies. You will identify opportunities, tailor solutions, and help close deals.

The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to travel to client sites. Mandarin, English and Malay proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in fabrication, engineering, automation, or manufacturing.
• Strong technical understanding of sheet metal processes (turret punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, etc.).
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay to support a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across fabrication, engineering, automation, and MRO segments.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide timely support.
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and follow-ups for project inquiries.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility, costing accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and understand project specifications and requirements.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular progress reports to management.

Role Introduction

We are looking for dedicated and motivated Sales Engineer / Sales Executives to join our growing team. You will work closely with clients to understand their project needs and deliver tailored solutions in sheet metal fabrication, engineering services, automation systems, and industrial MRO supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across fabrication, engineering, automation, and MRO segments.

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of sheet metal processes (turret punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, etc.).
• Experience in automation/system integration or industrial MRO sales is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Malay to support a diverse customer base.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
