Job summary

IJM Industry, part of IJM Group's Industry Division, is seeking a Sales Engineer to leverage technical expertise and develop relationships with clients in Malaysia. You will identify customer needs, propose solutions for high-performance concrete piles, and drive growth across ICP Piles portfolios.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in technical sales.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by identifying their needs and recommending suitable products.
• Develop new sales opportunities and organize sales visits.
• Establish new accounts and services by identifying potential customers.
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or services to determine improvements.
• Follow up on projects with dealers and contractors for negotiations and closing.
• Forecast and input stocks quantity to meet project deadlines.
• Provide timely support on technical or commercial inquiries.

Your Impact:

Serve customers by identifying their needs and recommend suitable products

Develop new sales opportunities and organizing sales visits

Establish new accounts and services by identifying potential customers

Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications in customer environment or proposing changes in equipment, processes and services.

Follow up projects promptly with project dealers, contractors for negotiations and closing.

To forecast and input stocks quantity to cater project requirement deadline

Provide support on technical or commercial inquiry swiftly

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or equivalent or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 year experience in technical sales

Strong communication skills to engage with clients effectively

Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits

Good to Have:

Previous experience in construction or industrial equipment sales

Understanding of project management principles

Knowledge of industry procurement processes

Existing network of industry contacts
