Job summary

Threcell Sdn Bhd is seeking a Cooling Tower Sales Engineer to drive sales for cooling towers, ensure equipment fits site constraints, and prepare technical tender documents. You will manage relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, and purchasers, while delivering compelling product presentations.

The role requires travel to customer job sites, strong English, Chinese, and Malay communication skills, and a technical engineering background with experience in HVAC or M&E sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering or related technical field.
• >2 years of technical sales experience, preferably in M&E, HVAC or construction.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and interface with contractors in English, Chinese and Malay.

Responsibilities

This role combines technical engineering expertise with sales and client management responsibilities. We are seeking a technically proficient and driven Cooling Tower Sales Engineer. You will perform cooling tower selection , ensure proposed cooling towers fit within site layout constraints, and prepare technical documents for tender submission. You will manage sales for existing and new clients including developers, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and purchasers, prepare quotations, attend tender negotiations, follow up on project stages, and conduct product presentations.

Key responsibilities

Finding Clients: Research new leads, make cold calls, and visit clients.

Technical Support: Answer client questions and give product presentations.

Custom Solutions: Work with internal teams to design systems that fit the client's specific needs.

Closing Deals: Prepare quotations, negotiate contract terms, and hit sales targets.

Business Development & Relationship Management: Actively build a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, up to date market news, and events.

Required skills & qualification

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience: >2 years of technical sales experience preferably within the M&E, HVAC or construction industry.

Computer literate: Microsoft office and basic AutoCAD

Attitude & Drive: Able to accept challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.

Mobility & languages: Willing to travel frequently to customer job sites. Strong multilingual (English, Chinese, Malay) skills are preferred to easily interface with local contractors.
