Job summary

Gentle Supreme Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a detail-oriented Sales Coordination professional to support trade claims, budgeting, and cross-functional operations. You will compile reports, consolidate data across GT channels, and ensure timely processing of POs and monthly trade bulletins.

The role requires 2–3 years in a related FMCG role, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/Pivot), and strong numerical ability to handle pricing and claims with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a Sales Coordination, Trade Claims, or Commercial Support role in FMCG/consumer goods.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and advanced data formulas.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail in pricing, claims, and budget values.

Responsibilities

Job description

Performance Tracking: Compile and analyze sales reports comparing prior year vs. current year performance against set commercial targets.

Data Consolidation: Manage tracking of inventory levels, sell-in volumes, and consumer offtake data to support forecast accuracy.

Attention to Detail: Maintain high sensitivity and rigorous validation checks over all commercial figures to prevent data discrepancies.

Regional Gatekeeper: Oversee, verify, and handle all regional trade claims across General Trade (GT) channels before submitting them to Finance.

Budget Accrual: Monitor and maintain budget accrual logs to ensure claims do not exceed allocated commercial spend.

Trade Bulletin: Manage the monthly Trade Bulletin claims process, ensuring timely tracking, verification, and closure of distributor and retailer deductions.

3. Order Management Support

PO Processing: Receive Purchase Orders (PO) from Key Account Managers (KAM), extract and input the required data details, and submit them to the Sales Administration team for processing.

Tracking: Follow up on processed POs

4. Cross-Functional Operations

Work together with the Logistics team (for stock/delivery), Finance (for claims/accruals), and Regional Sales Managers (RSM) (for ground execution updates).

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Sales Coordination, Trade Claims, or Commercial Support role, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods industry.

Technical Excel Skills: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong working knowledge of VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced data formulas is required.

Numerical Skills: Exceptional mathematical aptitude with a strong eye for detail when handling sensitive pricing, claims data, and budget values.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate across internal departments (Logistics, Finance) and RSMs.

Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage monthly closing timelines efficiently.
