Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Sales Advisor to manage the customer journey from arrival to payment and vehicle handover. You will prepare job sheets, quotations, process payments, and facilitate smooth communication between customers and technicians.

The role requires strong communication, ability to multitask, and teamwork to support sales and workshop teams. Fresh graduates are welcome, with a focus on delivering excellent service in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales administration, or automotive service industry is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally upon arrival
• Receive and safeguard vehicle keys from the Sales Advisor, Branch Manager, or Supervisor
• Guide customers to the waiting area and ensure a pleasant customer experience
• Coordinate vehicle movement to the designated inspection or service bay
• Understand customers' service requirements and accurately record their requests
• Prepare and update Job Sheets based on customer requirements
• Coordinate with technicians for vehicle inspection and work progress
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in the system
• Prepare service and repair quotations
• Update quotations when additional repair recommendations are identified
• Explain quotations clearly to customers and obtain approval before work begins
• Promote value-added products and services, including Michelin RHP+ (Road Hazard Protection Plus)
• Support the Sales Advisor in achieving branch sales targets
• Communicate effectively with technicians regarding job status and customer requests
• Update Job Sheets when additional repair work is approved
• Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed of work status
• Prepare invoices and process customer payments accurately
• Complete all required documentation before vehicle release
• Return vehicle keys to customers and ensure a smooth vehicle handover
• Ensure customers are satisfied before leaving the outlet
• Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and appointment bookings
• Follow up with customers after service where required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception and customer waiting area
• Maintain proper filing of job sheets, quotations, invoices, and customer records
• Assist in daily sales reports and administrative documentation
• Support outlet operations and perform other duties assigned by the Branch Manager

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales administration, or automotive service industry is an advantage. Fresh graduate acceptable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
