Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad is seeking a Service Advisor in Malaysia to handle customer inquiries, schedule service appointments, and communicate repair estimates. You will work with technicians to ensure timely completion and will promote maintenance packages.

We require a minimum of SPM and a Diploma in Automotive Engineering with at least 1 year of service advisory experience and a valid D-class driving license. Immediate start is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess at least SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive).
• At least 1 year of experience as Service Advisor in automotive workshop.
• Must have valid driving license class D.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and schedule service appointments.
• Call customers to inform them their vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repairs and advise on maintenance packages and estimated prices.
• Promote products and services confidently.
• Write service orders and describe problems and repairs.
• Work with Technicians to track vehicle progress and ensure timely readiness.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Maintain orderly administration and housekeeping.
• Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.

Perform customer service duties i.e. answering the phone, scheduling service appointment and calling customers to inform them their vehicles are ready to pick up, explaining repairs to customers, advice customer on the maintenance packages and estimated price and etc.

Promote products and services confidently

Writing service orders and description of problems and repairs

Work closely with Technician to keep track of the vehicles’ progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time

Test drive vehicles to confirm service repairs

Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration work

Any additional job assigned by superior

Requirement:

Possess at least SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive)

Possess at least 1 year of working experience as Service Advisor in automotive workshop

Must have valid driving license class D

Able to start immediately will be an added advantage
