Job summary

Basic Living Food (BLF) is a bar and pastry trade supply distributor expanding its sales team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on growing our customer base across bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants and bakeries, visiting prospects, presenting our range, and arranging samples.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in B2B sales within F&B or related fields, are confident communicators in English and Bahasa/Chinese, and possess own transport with a valid licence.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in F&B, beverages or food supply.
• Confident communicator, comfortable in English and Bahasa and/or Chinese.
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with a hunter mindset.
• Own transport and a valid driving licence.
• Contacts in bar/café scene are a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow our customer base across bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants and bakeries.

Basic Living Food (BLF) is a bar and pastry trade supply distributor, and an authorised distributor of Finest Call®, Reàl® and Master of Mixes®. We supply bars, cafés, restaurants and bakeries, and we're expanding our sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Grow our customer base across bars, cafés, hotels, restaurants and bakeries
• Visit and call prospects, present our product range and arrange samples
• Build lasting relationships with existing accounts and drive repeat orders
• Prepare quotations and follow up on orders and payments
• Share market feedback and meet monthly sales targets

About you

• 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in F&B, beverages or food supply (fresh grads with strong drive are welcome)
• Confident communicator, comfortable in Bahasa and/or Chinese as well as English
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with a hunter mindset
• Own transport and a valid driving licence
• Existing contacts in the bar or café scene are a big plus
