Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan & Perundingcara Bright Prospect Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced HSE professional to ensure OSHA compliance, develop safety programs, conduct HIRARC, and lead site inspections in Malaysia.

The role requires 5 years of HSE experience in logistics or manufacturing, a valid DOSH Green Book ( SHO ), CHRA registration, CePSWaM certification, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Strong communication and cross-department collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of HSE experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Valid DOSH Green Book (Sho) as Safety & Health Officer.
• Registered with DOSH as CHRA for Chemical Health Risk Assessment.
• CePSWaM (Certified Professional in Scheduled Waste Management) certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA-related standards and implement policies.
• Develop, implement and optimize safety programs to prevent accidents.
• Conduct HIRARC and lead workplace safety inspections.
• Organize safety training to raise awareness and improve emergency response.
• Monitor DOSH regulation updates and implement changes.
• Investigate and report workplace accidents, recommending corrective actions.

Job description

Ensure the company’s compliance with occupational safety and health standards, implementing OSHA-related policies and procedures.

Develop, implement, and optimize safety programs to prevent workplace accidents.

Conduct HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control) and lead workplace safety inspections

Organize and conduct employee safety training to raise safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities

Monitor updates in DOSH regulations and ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes.

Investigate and report any workplace accidents or violations, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure the implementation of best safety practices and standards.

Job Requirements:

5 years of HSE experience, preferably within logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Possess a valid DOSH Green Book (Registered Safety & Health Officer - SHO).

Registered with DOSH as a Competent Assessor for Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA).

Hold a valid CePSWaM (Certified Professional in Scheduled Waste Management) certification.

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, able to work independently and perform under pressure.

Good report writing, documentation, and data analysis skills.
