Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OSH or related discipline.
• Registered SHO certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, preferably in logistics/warehousing/3PL/4PL.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance.
• Familiar with risk assessment methodologies, HIRARC, and PTW processes.
• Knowledge of MHE operations and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for HSE matters, guiding policy and procedures.
• Advise management and contractors on HSE compliance and best practices.
• Develop and oversee safety and utilities maintenance programs to support excellence.
• Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety and facility HSE requirements.
• Deliver HSE training programs including inductions and toolbox talks.
• Conduct monthly HSE inspections and prepare reports for the Committee.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for HSE matters, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Advise management, site leaders, and contractors on HSE compliance requirements and best practices in line with applicable regulations.
• Develop and oversee safety and utilities maintenance programs to support operational excellence and achieve HSE objectives.
• Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety compliance, and facility-related HSE requirements.
• Deliver HSE training programs, including safety inductions, toolbox talks, and MHE operator training, while promoting safety awareness through various communication channels.
• Conduct monthly HSE inspections with departmental HSE Committee representatives and prepare inspection reports for review and discussion during HSE Committee meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or a related discipline.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) certification is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, 3PL, or 4PL industry and is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiar with risk assessment methodologies, HIRARC, and Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) processes.
• Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operations and facility maintenance.
