Job summary

vivo Malaysia is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to build and strengthen our retail team across Malaysia. You will deliver engaging training, enhance product knowledge and sales skills, and guide frontline staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include onboarding, refresher and product launch sessions, store visits to assess performance, and developing training materials and reports to track impact.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, training or sales coaching.
• Experience in smartphones, telecommunications or consumer electronics is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation and coaching skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel for store visits and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Train & Develop: Conduct onboarding, refresher and product launch training on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service and retail SOPs.
• Coach for Success: Guide retail staff to improve sales performance, customer engagement and product presentation.
• Visit & Evaluate: Conduct store visits to assess staff competency and ensure compliance with retail standards.
• Improve Performance: Identify training needs and work with Retail Operations to enhance frontline effectiveness.
• Prepare & Track: Develop training materials, maintain training records and prepare regular training reports.
