Job summary

KK SUPER MART is seeking a Shop Assistant to support daily store operations at Megan Avenue. You will handle merchandise reception, stocking, inventory, and maintain presentation while delivering friendly customer service.

You’ll operate POS systems, ensure asset security, and assist during emergencies in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires basic computer and POS knowledge, good communication, and the ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and POS knowledge.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Possess own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily store operations and ensure smooth outlet activities.
• Receive, inspect, record, arrange, replenish, and return merchandise.
• Assist with stock management and inventory checking.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper store presentation.
• Operate POS systems and store equipment according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper care and security of company assets and merchandise.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist with emergencies and report incidents to the person in charge.
• Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain KK Supermart's brand image and service standards.
