Job summary

Muji Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring a Retail Associate in Kuala Lumpur to assist in achieving daily and monthly sales budgets and to provide proactive product information and service to customers on the sales floor.

You will greet customers attentively, assist in stock tagging and replenishment, and support in checkout when required, while upholding safety standards and delivering Muji’s service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with 1–2 years of retail experience will be an added advantage.
• Positive and with passion in retail industry.
• Like interacting with customers and have an eye for details.
• Articulate and outgoing.
• Result oriented and good team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving daily and monthly sales budget.
• Assist in carrying out the weekly sales action plan at assigned areas or departments.
• Provide product information and service to customers proactively.
• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor attentively.
• Assist in receiving, counting of stocks, tagging and labeling.
• Monitor and check goods with expiry date (Health & Beauty / Food).
• Do daily/weekly housekeeping and stock replenishment.
• Assist in tagging sensor tags, especially for garments.
• Feed back on fast and slow moving stock to superior.
• Maintain safety standards in the work area.
• Perform daily stock replenishment and report discrepancies.
• Assist cashier at checkout when required.
• Provide knowledge on extended services and fees (Home delivery & Alteration).
