Job summary

Muji Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Part Time Retail Assistant for our outlet at Setia City Mall. You will deliver excellent customer service, help customers locate products, and support sales goals while handling POS transactions accurately.

The role requires friendliness, basic math skills for cash handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends or holidays if needed. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or customer-facing experience appreciated but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in locating products.
• Answer questions about features, prices and availability.
• Achieve sales targets by promoting products.
• Monitor inventory and inform supervisor of shortages or overstocks.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of store and storeroom.
• Perform POS transactions and handle cash/credit payments accurately.
• Provide correct change and participate in promotions.
