Chestar Properties Sdn Bhd (Harbour Place) in Malaysia seeks a leasing professional to identify and shortlist tenants and retail concepts for the mall, initiate discussions, and negotiate leases that meet business needs. You will ensure lease compliance, coordinate with internal teams, monitor tenant performance, and support tenancy operations from negotiation to store opening.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and shortlist suitable tenants and retail concepts for the mall.
• Initiate discussions with potential tenants, negotiate leases and finalise terms.
• Ensure tenants adhere to lease terms.
• Follow up through execution to the opening of stores.
• Maintain good landlord-tenant relationships and resolve concerns promptly.
• Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements and lease documents.
• Liaise with inter-departments on rental collection, fit-out, operations and insurance.
• Monitor and analyse tenants’ sales and overall performance.
• Conduct market research on shopping centres to stay updated.

Identify and short-list suitable tenants and retail concepts for the mall.

Initiate discussion with potential tenants, negotiate the lease and finalize rental and other terms and conditions.

Ensure tenants' adhere to the lease terms.

Follow-up through execution to the opening of store.

Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationship.

Resolve any tenants' concerns and issues soonest possible in interest for betterment of the mall.

Prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, management reports as well as documents with regards to lease transactions.

Liase closely with inter-departments on matters pertaining to rental collection, fit-out, operations and insurance as well as monitor and analyse tenants' sales and overall performance.

Conduct market research on shopping centres in order to keep abreast of retail property development in the market.

Requirements

Experience in shopping mall leasing is an added advantage.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Estate Management/Business Studies/Marketing or relevant field.

Possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage to facilitate effective negotiation with retail vendors and tenants.

Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft.

Possess strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
