Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good numeracy skills and accuracy with transactions.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and stand for extended periods.
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
• Team player who supports colleagues and store objectives.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian retail sector and local customer preferences is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at all times.
• Process customer purchases at the checkout counter with accuracy and speed.
• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are neatly arranged and clearly priced.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to maintain product freshness.
• Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including aisles, shelves and customer areas.
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with product location and information.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and securely managing cash transactions.
• Support promotional activities and implement store displays as directed.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.
