Job summary

KTS Cellular Malaysia is seeking a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales, and lead the retail team. You will collaborate with the Retail Manager to hit monthly targets while ensuring outstanding customer service across Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or a Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Sales-driven mindset and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product displays.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and routine operational checks.
• Work closely with the Retail Manager to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Track daily sales performance and guide the team towards achieving their goals.
• Support the planning and execution of promotions and sales campaigns.
• Supervise full-time and part-time retail staff, ensuring duty rosters and floor coverage.
• Coach, motivate, and support the team to strengthen sales and customer service skills.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
• Ensure every customer receives friendly, attentive, and professional service.
