Job summary

Sastha Vege Corner in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a friendly and energetic Waiter/Waitress to provide exceptional service from greeting guests to delivering orders.

You will use a POS system, handle payments, keep tables clean, and support the team during busy periods, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Fresh graduates welcome; multilingual candidates (English, Malay, Tamil) encouraged to apply; EPF and SOCSO are provided in accordance with Malaysian labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, explain specials, take accurate orders, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Check back to ensure guest satisfaction and handle requests professionally.
• Use the POS system to enter orders, process cash and electronic payments accurately, and handle bill settlements.
• Maintain clean and organized tables and service stations, reset tables promptly, and restock service essentials.
• Keep dining areas, service stations, restrooms and entrances tidy. Clean spills immediately, manage waste disposal, and assist with general upkeep as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, handle food/beverages responsibly, and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Assist with special events, catering, promotions, and support the team with general tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain clean and organized tables and service stations, reset tables promptly, and restock service essentials (condiments, utensils, napkins).

Keep dining areas, service stations, restroom and entrances tidy. Clean spills immediately, manage waste disposal, and assist with general upkeep as required.

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, handle food/beverages responsibly, and report maintenance issues immediately.

Assist with special events, catering, promotions, and support the team with general tasks to ensure smooth operations.

About you

Able to speak, read, and write in English, Malay, and Tamil languages.

Previous experience in F&B or customer service is a plus, but fresh graduates or candidates with a great attitude are welcome to apply.

Strong communication and listening skills.

Ability to multitask efficiently and cope with busy hour stress in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Comfortable using POS and digital ordering systems.

Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on operational needs.

8 hours per day, 6 days a week (1 rest day provided).
