Job summary

Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Restaurant Services Assistant to support food and beverage service and ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, manage payments, and maintain a clean, well-set table setup according to hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in hospitality and a certificate/diploma in hotel management or related field.

About the Role

Restaurant Services Assistant in the food and beverage industry is to provide excellent customer service by assisting in food and drink service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guest.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform all duties and responsibilities in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner, in accordance with established Hotel and Company policies & procedures.

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding a table.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.

Serve food and drinks/coffee breaks promptly and professionally.

Handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions accurately.

Set up table with cutlery, napkins, and condiments before service.

Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all time.

What We’re Looking For

A minimum 1-2 years’ Experience in the Hospitality industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills in effectively liaising with guests and team members.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle complex situations.

Flexible and adaptable to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

CERT /DIPLOMA in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
