Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur City Centre is seeking enthusiastic Waiters/Waitresses for a full-time role. You will be at the forefront of guest experience, delivering exceptional service and ensuring seamless dining moments.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, presenting dishes, and processing payments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in waiter/waitress or customer-facing hospitality role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with a positive, courteous attitude.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods and carry items safely.
• Basic numeracy for processing payments accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
• Certification in food hygiene or hospitality training preferred but not essential.

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters/Waitresses to join the hospitality team. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be at the forefront of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations and creates memorable dining moments. This role is fundamental to our restaurant's success, as you will be the vital link between our kitchen and our valued guests, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, seating them promptly and providing menus
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Presenting dishes and beverages to guests with attention to detail, ensuring orders are served correctly and promptly
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, dietary requirements and beverage pairings
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all service areas, including tables and cutlery
• Ensuring glasses remain filled and tables are cleared promptly between courses
• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
• Responding to guest requests and resolving any concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Collaborating effectively with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Physical stamina and the capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
• Basic numeracy skills for processing payments accurately
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous
• Certification in food hygiene or hospitality training is preferred but not essential
