Job summary

Telecontinent Sdn Bhd, located in Klang Valley with offices across the region, is seeking a young technician to join its repair centre. The role involves cleaning, troubleshooting and repairing defective modules returned from field service, upgrading components and performing preventive wear parts replacements to meet as-new quality.

You will test repaired modules and ensure adherence to standard procedures while maintaining safe workplace practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science required or welcome fresh graduates
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply
• Mechanical/Electronic troubleshooting skills required
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Clean, troubleshoot and repair defective modules returned from field service
• Perform required module upgrades and replace wear/tear parts to achieve as-new quality
• Test modules after repair to ensure full functionality and quality standards
• Maintain tools and test equipment and report failures to supervisor
• Ensure workplace is clean and safe at all times
• Capture data regarding repair activities accurately
• Perform root cause analyses for DOA cases and early life failures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Review stock levels of parts for repair and assist field service when needed
• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Responsibilities

Clean, troubleshoot and repair defective modules returned from field service

Perform required module upgrades and replace wear/tear parts preventively to achieve as-new quality standard

Test modules after repair to confirm full functionality and quality standards are met

Ensure all repair activities are in-line with standard repair and test procedures

Maintain required tools and test equipment to be ready for operation and report failures to manager

Ensure workplace is clean and safe at all times

Ensure required data regarding repair activities is captured correctly and completely

Perform root cause analyses for DOA cases, early life and epidemic failures

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Achieve productivity and quality targets defined by manager repair centre

Review stock levels of parts for repair whenever required by manager repair center

Provide field service support whenever required by manager repair center

Any ad-hoc task as assigned by the Management as and when needed

Salary range RM2200 - RM2600 (Including allowances) + OT Allowance (If Applicable)

Annual leave 16 days per annum after confirmation*

Operation hour:

Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM

Saturday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Off day: Sunday & Public Holiday
