Job summary

EDMI Electronics Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for an Assist Test Engineer to qualify testers and operators, and to repair and maintain equipment in our electronics manufacturing facility in Kulai, Johor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent required.
• Able to work long hours and shifts.
• At least 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing preferred; fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist Test Engineer to qualify testers and operators.
• Repair testers, equipment and fixtures per fault logs and downtime system.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on testers, fixtures, equipment, boards, and accessories.
• Maintain safe, productive production area with adequate inventory.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and proper maintenance of equipment and work floor.
• Identify and debug problems in equipment and implement solutions.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
• Set up production line with the team.
• Conduct peer inspections on maintenance work.
• Continue learning new debugging/maintenance knowledge from supervisor.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job description

1. Assist Test Engineer to qualify the new tester / operator.

2. Repair tester, equipment, fixture in accordance with the fault logging and down time system.

3. Perform the preventive maintenance and calibration activities on tester, fixture, equipment, gold board and accessories to ensure full compliances.

4. Ensure production area is safe to work, productive and has required inventory.

5. Ensure equipment and work floor is clean, safe and well-maintenance.

6. Identify and debug problems in equipment and work for solution.

7. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.

8. Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.

9. Setup production line with team

10. Perform peer-to-peer inspections on work performed by other maintenance technicians.

11. Continue learn new debug/maintenance knowledge from superior

12. Fill out required paperwork.

13. Ad-hoc work assigned by superior

Requirements: -

1. Possess a Cert/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

2. Able to work long and shift duties.

3. At least 2 years of working experience in electronics manufacturing environment.

5. Possess PCB testing experience is an added advantage.

6. Willing to work in overtimes / weekend / shift when needed.
