Job summary

ICT Zone Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced leader to own the end-to-end life cycle of rental, refurbishment, replacement and disposal assets across the organization. You will lead Rental Assets, oversee refurbishment, inventory handling and ensure SLA compliance with quality standards.

You will drive budgeting, KPI development, and continuous improvement while coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance and Procurement to maximise asset utilization, minimize costs and

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• Experience leading multiple operational functions and teams.
• Experience with asset lifecycle, refurbishment, warranty, inventory control and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end life cycle of rental, refurbished, replacement and disposal assets.
• Manage Rental Assets, store, refurbishment, and technical support.
• Set KPIs, SOPs, standards and targets.

Job description

Responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end life cycle of rental, inventory control, refurbished, replacement, and disposal assets across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the Rental Assets function, including store, refurbishment, and technical support.

Set departmental KPIs, SOPs, operational standards and performance targets.

Manage manpower, budget and resources to achieve operational efficiency.

Coach and manage team performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Rental Asset & Life-cycle Management

Manage the complete life cycle of rental, replacement, refurbished and disposal assets.

Ensure accurate asset RFID tagging, tracking, movement and accountability.

Monitor asset availability, utilization, aging, maintenance and condition.

Conduct periodic stock takes and ensure inventory accuracy.

Minimize asset loss, discrepancies and operational costs while maximizing asset utilization and recovery value.

Store & Inventory Management

Oversee the operations of all stores, including receiving, storage, transfer, issuance and delivery.

Optimize store capacity, layout and inventory control.

Manage spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock to support rental and refurbishment operations.

Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, security and inventory integrity.

Rental, Refurbishment & Technical Operations

Ensure rental assets are prepared, inspected, tested and delivered within the required SLA and in compliance with BSI Kitemark standards and quality requirement.

Oversee refurbishment, repair, maintenance and replacement activities to maximize asset lifespan.

Monitor repair/refurbishment costs, turnaround time and quality.

Provide technical and operational support for asset deployment and customer requirements.

Warranty, Recovery & Disposal Management

Manage warranty claims, repairs and replacement processes with vendors and service providers.

Oversee asset recovery, disposal and ensure smooth deployment activities with operations team in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain proper documentation and audit records for warranty, recovery and disposal activities.

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management

Drive initiatives to improve asset utilization, operational efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness.

Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Procurement and other departments to ensure smooth asset operations.

Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent

Minimum 5 years leading multiple operational functions and teams

Experience in managing asset life cycle, refurbishment, repair, warranty, inventory control, and warehouse operations

Strong leadership, people management and team development skills

Excellent planning, organization and problem-solving abilities

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
