SWIFT GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee networks, servers, storage, and cloud services from their Klang location. You will lead a small team, drive upgrades, manage budgets, and ensure security and DR readiness across on-premises and cloud environments.
The role emphasizes strategic planning, vendor coordination, and adherence to ITIL processes, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST standards while guiding staff and improving infrastructure reliability.
Support daily operations in IT infrastructure, including networking, cloud services (AWS / GCP/ Azure), virtualization, and cybersecurity.
Assist in implementing new technologies and infrastructure improvements.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and infrastructure best practices.
Assist in managing IT infrastructure components: networks, servers, storage, cloud services, and data centers.
Ensure system availability, performance, and security across all infrastructure platforms.
Assist in developing and maintaining infrastructure strategies and policies aligned with business needs.
Support infrastructure upgrade projects, cloud migrations, and system enhancements.
Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and reporting to ensure alignment with project goals.
Work with cross-functional teams to support smooth project execution.
Provide support for infrastructure-related issues.
Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Maintain and update infrastructure documentation (network diagrams, inventories, SOPs).
Support DR planning and testing activities for IT infrastructure.
Assist in ensuring resiliency and timely recovery in case of incidents.
Supervise junior staff and provide technical guidance.
Support training, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring within the team.
Promote a collaborative environment and continuous improvement.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Prepare documentation, reports, and operational updates when required.
Translate technical issues into clear explanations for non-technical audiences.
Recommend technology improvements aligned with business needs.
Assist management in evaluating new infrastructure technologies and
cloud adoption.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly and effectively.
Make operational decisions to ensure service reliability and performance.
Assist in managing vendors, service providers, and maintenance contracts.
Ensure SLAs are met and elevate issues when necessary.
Provide input to infrastructure budgeting and cost optimization.
Support cost control for cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hardware maintenance.
Support change request processes and ensure proper impact analysis.
Coordinate rollout of infrastructure updates and system changes.
Support compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for IT governance and compliance checks.
Stay updated on modern IT infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and security trends.
Pursue certifications and training programs recommended by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Microsoft Azure Administrator, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.
Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
Strong knowledge of network administration, Windows/Linux server management, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform – GCP, Microsoft Azure).
Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST) and disaster recovery planning.
Proficiency in ITIL service processes, enterprise storage, and backup solutions.
Hands‑on experience with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.).
Good leadership, team supervision, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision‑making abilities.
Must be willing to be based at Taman Intan, Klang
