Job summary

Solar Wise Energy, a growing renewable energy company in Malaysia, seeks a Business Development Manager in Kuala Lumpur. The role is full-time with hybrid work flexibility, focusing on identifying opportunities and building relationships with corporate, commercial, and residential clients interested in solar solutions.

You will conduct market research, prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure client needs are met.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and account management skills with proven deal closing ability.
• Experience in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation in B2B/B2C contexts.
• Solid renewable energy or solar knowledge, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop strategic plans and forecasts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; English fluency; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Nurture leads, build relationships, and manage an active sales pipeline.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and negotiations; align solutions with client needs.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and finance to support go-to-market strategies and retention.
• Track sales performance and provide regular forecasts and reports.
