Job summary

remotepeople is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and expansion of solar, wind, and energy storage markets in Malaysia. You will work with internal teams and channel partners to craft competitive proposals and tailored client solutions, ensuring timely delivery.

You will perform ongoing market research on policies, regulations, trends, tenders, and competitors, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to guide business planning and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Power Engineering, New Energy, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
• Sound understanding of energy storage systems and/or power systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; high learning capacity, analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and expansion of solar, wind and energy storage markets in line with strategy and investment objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to develop and deliver competitive proposals and tailored solutions to clients in a timely manner.
• Conduct ongoing market research on Malaysia's renewable energy sector and provide regular market updates and actionable recommendations for planning and decision-making.
