Job summary

MPSI Steel Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Sales/Business Development professional to drive remote sales from the designated location in Malaysia. You will engage customers, prepare quotations, and coordinate orders to meet targets.

The role requires strong communication skills and 2+ years in sales or technical support, preferably in the automotive/trailer space. Travel to customer sites will be needed within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of sales or technical support experience.
• Experience in the commercial vehicle, automotive, trailer, or related industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely from the assigned location and manage sales activities within the designated market.
• Achieve assigned sales targets through active sales execution and customer engagement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Promote the company's products and services to customers and potential clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and other sales-related documentation.
• Follow up consistently on customer enquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain good communication with customers.
• Monitor sales activities, customer requirements, and pipeline opportunities.
• Maintain daily sales activity records and provide regular progress updates.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth handling of customer requirements and orders.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with IMS requirements and company procedures.

Education

Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field

Minimum 2 years of sales or technical support experience

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
