Job summary

Fragomen is hiring a Consultant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur to manage visa applications and assigned casework from initiation through completion, ensuring progress within required timelines and service level agreements.

You will provide timely, professional support to clients, update case information in CRM and other platforms, and collaborate with senior team members to maintain high‑quality service delivery and knowledge sharing across the firm.

Qualifications

• Previous visa processing experience, with experience independently managing applications or casework.
• Strong client‑facing experience and commitment to delivering high‑quality client service.
• Strong research and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to investigate unfamiliar or complex visa requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior team members and colleagues.
• Professional, proactive, and willing to share knowledge and support the wider team.
• Additional language skills would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage visa applications and assigned casework from initiation through completion, ensuring applications are accurate, progressed within required timelines, and meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Provide timely and professional support to clients, responding to queries and providing accurate information on visa requirements and application processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information within CRM and other technology platforms, including key communications, milestones, and case progress.
• Monitor individual workload and workflows, prioritising competing deadlines and escalating service or case‑related issues where appropriate.
• Research visa requirements and more complex or unique cases, seeking guidance from senior team members where required.
• Maintain strong knowledge of relevant visa processes, internal procedures, systems, and service requirements.
• Support invoicing and other case administration activities to ensure matters are completed in a timely manner.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other teams across the business to support high‑quality service delivery.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance or training to Visa Coordinators and other Consultants as required.
• Support more complex casework, process improvements, and additional projects under the guidance of senior team members.
