Job description

Fragomen Malaysia is hiring a Client Account Consultant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This role will support the delivery of immigration services for a key global client by coordinating case activities, managing immigration-related enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Immigration Coordination and Operations Monitor immigration-related notifications and enquiries, route them to the appropriate parties, and follow up on required actions.
  • Coordinate immigration pre-screening, case initiation, and renewal activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and case records in relevant systems.
  • Follow up with employees and recruiters on outstanding information, documents, and case updates.
  • Liaise with Fragomen case teams to support the timely progress of immigration matters.
  • Document and Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate document approvals, signatures, and endorsements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and format supporting documents required for immigration applications.
  • Gather relevant employment information to support immigration filings.
  • Reporting and Data Management Review and cross-check case reports to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor case progress and highlight delays or issues requiring attention.
  • Extract data and prepare regular or ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and supporting documentation.
  • Project and Administrative Support Prepare reports, presentation materials, and other documents for internal use.
  • Provide administrative and project support based on operational requirements.
  • Coordinate country-specific administrative requirements, including visitor registrations and departure notifications for client offices in other locations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder with prior experience in immigration, global mobility, HR operations, shared services, or client coordination would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with HR systems, case management platforms, reports, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to analyse information, identify outstanding actions, and escalate potential issues appropriately.
  • Proactive and dependable, with a strong follow-through mindset.
  • Able to handle confidential information professionally.
