Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Remittance Investigation Analyst to oversee and follow-up on remittance-related payments. The role involves liaising with bankers and customers, identifying gaps, and ensuring timely resolution with strict adherence to service levels.

Qualifications

• Must be able to investigate and resolve remittance-related exceptions.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency and risk.
• Maintain daily documentation for records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with bankers, customers, and business units to resolve payment‑related exceptions within SLA.
• Investigate remittance requests and provide findings to stakeholders.
• Perform daily reconciliation of investigation cases until closure.
• Document investigation cases for records and management reporting.
• Handle back valuation requests and nostro account reconciliation as needed.
• Participate in UAT/projects and ad-hoc tasks when required.
• Engage in team huddles to discuss process gaps and improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with risk controls and procedures.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team.
• Multitask and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
