Job summary

AmBank Group in Kuala Lumpur is hiring for a Business Banking role focused on acquiring new SME customers and growing the Bank's franchise. You will manage the portfolio, meet targets, and cross-sell banking products and services including lending and deposits.

The role requires a degree or diploma, a strong sales drive, and an outgoing, results-oriented personality. Mandarin skills are a plus as we serve diverse businesses in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/SPM in any field.
• Self-motivated and committed, with a desire to achieve goals and targets.
• Strong sales drive, with the ability to influence and convince customers.
• Outgoing personality, aggressive and result-oriented.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities by acquiring SME customers (lending and deposits) to grow the business banking franchise.
• Manage the assigned Business Banking portfolio to meet personal and centre targets.
• Acquire new quality loan/deposit customers and cross-sell the Bank's products and services to meet customer needs and financial objectives.
• Structure viable financing solutions for clients, conduct pre-sanction visits, identify credit-related issues and manage post-approval activities.
• Comply with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank's business.
• Collaborate with product specialists to enhance utilization of Trade, Forex and Cash Management Solutions.

Identify new opportunity by acquiring NEW-TO-BANK SME customer (both lending and deposits) through a variety of products offered with objective of growing the Bank's Business banking franchise.

To manage the assigned Business Banking portfolio with the objective of meeting personal and business centre targets.

To acquire new quality loan / deposits customers and continuously cross-sell the Bank's products & services, with the objective of meeting the customer needs and achieving the Bank's financial objectives.

To structure viable financing solutions for client , conducting pre-sanction visits with applicants , identifying pertinent credit-related issues and account management for post approval works.

To comply with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank's business.

To collaborate with product specialists in enhancing utilizing of banking facilities, including by not limited to Trade, Forex and Cash Management Solutions.
