Ambition is seeking a Regional Technical Sales Manager - Waste Heat Recovery in Klang Valley to drive APAC market growth. You will build a sustainable pipeline, engage industrial end users, EPC contractors, and partners, and coordinate proposals with HQ. Strong technical sales and energy efficiency expertise are essential, with willingness to travel across APAC.

Based in Klang Valley, the role focuses on expanding market presence and delivering compelling business cases for WHR and ORC solutions.

Competenze

• Experience with ORC systems or waste heat recovery technologies.
• Proven track record in technical sales, business development or project development for industrial equipment or energy systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills across cultures and organisational levels.
• Fluent English; additional Asian language skills are an advantage.

The Role

• Develop the APAC market for waste heat recovery and ORC solutions, building a robust and sustainable opportunity pipeline
• Identify new customers, sectors, and applications with commercially attractive waste heat recovery potential
• Build and maintain relationships with industrial end users, EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, and technology partners
• Qualify leads, gather technical and commercial inputs, and work with headquarters on proposals and project evaluation
• Organise customer meetings, site visits, and workshops, presenting solutions and business cases with clarity and confidence
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and regional market intelligence, and represent our client at key industry events across APAC

What We're Looking For

A commercially driven, technically confident market builder:

• Background in ORC systems, waste heat recovery, power generation, CHP, or industrial energy efficiency
• Established network in sectors such as biomass, palm oil, cement, steel, chemicals, mining, or data centres
• Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or project development for industrial equipment or energy systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills across cultures and organisational levels
• Fluent English; additional Asian language skills are an advantage
• Willing to travel extensively across APAC; based in Klang Valley
