METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a regional THORNTON segment expert in the microelectronics space with responsibilities spanning competitive assessment, market trend analysis, and identification of regional growth opportunities.

You will support growth with local sales, present seminars, train segments, and collaborate on sales pipelines, product positioning and marketing content. A strong international travel component (~50%) is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Sciences. Equivalent experience may be considered as substitute.
• Work experience in Sales, Marketing or customer facing role
• Affinity with both the technical and the commercial aspects of the job
• Extensive know-how of the microelectronics industry (processes, market trends, etc.)
• Familiar with process instrumentation, preferably analytical instrumentation
• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written
• Business savvy and able to maneuver within all levels of an organization
• Self-organized and independent working attitude
• Confidence in various cultural environments

Responsabilités

• Be the regional segment expert for THORNTON in the microelectronics segment, performing competitive assessment and market trend analysis.
• Identify regional growth opportunities and support growth initiatives with the local sales organization.
• Present seminars and local segment training; collaborate on sales pipeline reviews with country teams.
• Participate in industry trade organizations and standards committees.
• Collaborate with THORNTON Product Management and provide insights for positioning and tactics.
• Develop value-added content with key industry insights for presentations.
• Generate content for marketing tools (application notes, success stories, white papers).
• Train customers and regional sales force on applications.
• Provide strategic inputs to the business head for segment planning.
• Operate effectively in a matrixed organization; influence across levels.
• Travel extensively internationally (approx. 50%).
