Job summary

Acotec Sdn Bhd, a member company of OSK Group, seeks an Assistant Manager, Sales & Marketing to drive growth across Butterworth, Taiping, KL and Johor Bahru. You will nurture key client relationships, present technical IBS solutions, and coordinate marketing activities to win new projects.

The role requires 5–7 years in sales/marketing within construction-related industries, strong English/Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably within IBS/building materials/construction industries.
• Strong network within the construction industry is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and achieve targets as per Head of Sales & Marketing guidance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, architects and government agencies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Acotec's market presence.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and support marketing initiatives (exhibitions, events, campaigns).
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to spot trends and opportunities.
• Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and provide growth insights.
• Manage project follow-ups from inquiry to quotation, negotiation and award.
