Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Head of Global Business Services (GBS) to lead its shared services organisation in the Kuala Lumpur region. You will guide the GBS to deliver high-quality services aligned with business expectations and drive excellence through automation, standardisation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline; professional qualifications advantageous.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations or reporting within multinational or complex corporate environments.
• Proven experience in GBS/shared services and regional service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional GBS organisation and ensure delivery of efficient, high-quality services to internal stakeholders.
• Develop strong relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders across markets and shared service teams.
• Act as a strategic GBS partner by translating evolving business requirements into improvements to the service delivery model.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality, efficiency, productivity and cost optimisation.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, process simplification, automation and technology adoption across the GBS organisation.
• Establish reporting, metrics and analytics to monitor performance and support data-driven decisions.
• Ensure governance, risk management and internal controls are embedded within the GBS operating environment.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and Technology to strengthen processes and controls.
• Support governance forums and cross-functional initiatives related to service delivery and transformation.
