Job summary

Zohorecruit in Malaysia is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (Director – Regional) to lead people strategy across multiple regional markets from Kuala Lumpur. You will advise Regional Leadership and coordinate between Group HR and local teams.

The role oversees HR governance, talent management, and operational execution across markets, driving organizational design, policy harmonization, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12–18 years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum 5–8 years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across senior leadership.
• Experience in matrix and multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnership: align people strategy with commercial objectives with Regional CEO/Leaders.
• Regional Talent Management: succession planning, leadership pipelines, mobility, performance frameworks.
• Change & Transformation: lead regional HR transformation programs and cross-border integration.
• HR Operations & Cost Management: oversee country leads, budgets, and shared services.
• Employee Engagement & Culture: drive regional engagement surveys and DEI initiatives.
• HR Analytics & Reporting: consolidate metrics and provide insights to Group Leadership.
• Mitigate risk via proactive HR advisory and governance standards.
