Job summary

Maybank in Malaysia seeks a senior Corporate Banking leader to manage relationships with large local corporates from Johor Bahru. You will lead a team, oversee credit quality, and drive strategic lending and capital management aligned with the bank's business objectives.

The role requires 8–12 years in wholesale banking, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record in business banking or debt capital markets.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and grasp of financial analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills for credit reports and stakeholder communication.
• Good business sense/acumen with a customer-centric mindset and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain strong relationships between the bank and large local corporates.
• Supervise Account Officer and Account Manager with the team.
• Drive loan growth and effective capital management at team level.
• Understand client financing requirements and structure detailed financing terms.
• Recommend proposals and terms sheets for pitching and negotiations.
• Identify business opportunities and cross-sell GB products as Business Origination.
