Job summary

ShopBack Cashback Sdn Bhd, the ShopBack Pay team, seeks an Associate Director of Channel Partnerships to build and grow merchant partnerships across Asia-Pacific. You will identify opportunities beyond traditional channels, structure partnerships, and lead regional expansion with frequent travel, especially to Singapore and Hong Kong.

You will manage a portfolio of partners, drive lead generation and revenue, and collaborate with technical teams to enable seamless integrations at checkout points

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in roles building or managing channel partnerships in payments, merchant services or similar ecosystems.
• Strong commercial judgment to prioritize opportunities and negotiate measurable outcomes.
• Experience coordinating integrations and managing stakeholders through launches.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflows and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop channel and partnership strategies that drive lead generation and revenue.
• Source, assess and launch new channel and referral partnerships including POS and kiosks.
• Structure partnership models and commercial deals to increase merchant funnel and revenue.
• Coordinate integrations with technical teams at checkout points (table ordering, POS, kiosks).
• Manage existing partners and drive value from the portfolio over time.
• Balance regional growth with operational readiness to bring partnerships live.
