Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring)
- Work closely with hiring managers on manpower planning
- Prepare job offers and coordinate onboarding
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle employee disciplinary matters (misconduct, absenteeism, performance issues)
- Issue warning letters, show cause letters, and other HR documentation
- Conduct domestic inquiries when required
- Provide guidance to management on disciplinary actions
- Ensure all actions comply with Malaysian labor laws, including Employment Act 1955 Malaysia
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all cases
General HR Functions
- Support HR policies and procedures implementation
- Maintain employee records and HR systems
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2–5 years of HR experience, including employee relations / disciplinary handling
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR practices
- Experience in handling misconduct cases and documentation
- Good communication and conflict management skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Preferred: Experience conducting domestic inquiries
- Preferred: HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD)
- Preferred: Experience in your industry
