Job summary

T HASEGAWA FLAVOURS (KUALA LUMPUR) SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to support the R&D team with sample preparation, testing and processing in Ampang Jaya.

You will report to a senior staff and help ensure timely submission of results according to project deadlines. Responsibilities include replenishing raw materials, performing quality checks, safely operating laboratory equipment, maintaining clean work areas, disposing of samples and waste as per procedures, and carrying

• Assist in sample preparation and applications on time; report to senior if due date can't be met.
• Assist in replenishing raw materials stock used in the lab.
• Assist in quality checking activities in the laboratory.
• Operate safely and effectively the equipment and utensils used in the laboratory.
• Take proper care of equipment and utensils during laboratory activities.
• Ensure work is performed according to specifications, instructions and requirements.
• Dispose samples and waste according to procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas.
• Perform other duties as instructed by the company or supervisor.

Job description

Working with R & D team on carry out lab tests, research and processing samples.

Job Responsibilities

To assist in the sample preparation and applications on time (report to senior if it cannot be submitted by the due date); and for trials of spray-dry and reaction processes or any other activities that may be included in the near future.

To assist in replenish of raw materials stock used in the lab

To assist in the quality checking activities in the laboratory.

To operate safely and effectively the equipment and utensils used in the laboratory.

To take proper care of equipment and utensils used while performing laboratory activities

To assure that all work assigned is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.

To dispose sample & waste according to procedure.

To maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.

To perform other duties as and when instructed by the company or any designated superior.
