Private Advertiser is seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our Sungai Bakap, Penang team. This full-time role supports laboratory operations and contributes to the company’s success.

You will perform laboratory-based research, testing, and data recording across biology, biotechnology, environmental science, forensic science, and pharmacology, ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry, or related field.
• Open to candidates with or without working experience.
• Knowledge in QA/QC systems, inspection methods, and quality standards.
• Familiar with laboratory testing, documentation, and report preparation.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and other productivity tools.
• Willing to work in Sungai Bakap, Penang.

About the role

Our Company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lab Assistant to join our team in Sungai Bakap, Penang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations and contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you'll be doing

Scientific laboratory technicians carry out laboratory-based research, analysis and testing and support life science professionals.

They sample, test, measure, research and analyse in areas such as biology, biotechnology, environmental science, forensic science and pharmacology.

Scientific laboratory technicians also observe and monitor laboratory activities, record test sequences and analyse the results.

Responsible to carry out experiments related to process, product development and change in formulations and maintain proper recording of data in the experiment records.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / bachelor’s degree
• Education in science, Chemistry, or a related field
• Open to candidates with or without working experience.
• Knowledge in QA/QC systems, inspection methods, and quality standards
• Familiar with laboratory testing, documentation, and report preparation
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and other productivity tools
• Good leadership, multitasking, and team management skills
