Job summary

MOH PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated laboratory and administrative assistant to support the R&D team in product development, formulation trials, sample preparation, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, weighing, processing samples, maintaining records, and ensuring GMP and safety compliance. The role demands meticulousness, teamwork and ability to work in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in relevant science field required.
• Basic knowledge of GMP and safety is preferred.
• Able to weigh, measure, and conduct basic lab work accurately.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D in product formulation, trials and development activities.
• Prepare raw materials, ingredients, equipment for trials.
• Weigh, mix, prepare and process lab samples per procedures.
• Prepare samples for testing, stability studies and other purposes.
• Record trial results and maintain R&D documentation.
• Maintain samples and inventory of lab materials.
• Ensure lab equipment and work areas are clean and maintained.
• Monitor consumables and notify when replenishment is required.

Job description

To provide laboratory and administrative support to the R&D team in product development, formulation trials, sample preparation, testing, documentation and general laboratory activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures, GMP and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the R&D team in conducting product formulation, laboratory trials and product development activities.
• Prepare raw materials, ingredients, equipment and laboratory apparatus required for R&D trials.
• Assist in weighing, mixing, preparation and processing of laboratory samples according to instructions and approved procedures.
• Prepare samples for testing, evaluation, stability studies and other R&D purposes.
• Record trial results, observations and relevant laboratory data accurately and maintain proper R&D documentation.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining R&D samples, retained samples and stability samples.
• Maintain proper labelling, identification, storage and inventory of raw materials, samples and laboratory supplies.
• Ensure laboratory equipment, utensils and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained before and after use.
• Assist in monitoring laboratory consumables and inform the superior when replenishment is required.

About you

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science or other related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory practices, GMP and safety requirements is an advantage.
• Able to perform accurate weighing, measurement and basic laboratory work.
• Computer literate and able to maintain proper records and documentation.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
