Job summary

Kelington Group Berhad is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Malaysia to assist in tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and pricing summaries. You will review documents, obtain quotations, compile technical-commercial proposals, and maintain cost databases while tracking budgets and claims.

Ensure contractual compliance and record-keeping across projects. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, 3–5 years' experience, Glodon software, and good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia;

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Glodon software is a plus.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of tender submissions, BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing summaries.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost implications.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for comparison and compliance.
• Compile and prepare technical-commercial proposals for submission.
• Maintain cost database, vendor records, and tender tracking logs.
• Prepare interim progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Verify subcontractor claims, quotations, and payment applications.
• Conduct cost analysis and track project budgets against actual expenditures.
• Support the preparation of contractual correspondences, claims, and EOT justifications.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams for cost and contract reporting.
• Maintain proper records of all contractual documentation and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and client contractual obligations.

Requirement

• Possess at least a Degree in Quantity Surveyor;


• At least 3-5 years experience;


• Experience with Glodon software will be an added advantage;


• Good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia;


• Able to travel when necessary;


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
