Job summary

Inta Bina Group Berhad is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to assist the Contract Manager with contract administration and measurement tasks. You will participate in progress reporting, subcontractor claims, and tendering processes while coordinating with site teams.

The role requires a degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, and at least 3 years of related experience. Placement is in Subang Jaya on site.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Willing to work in Subang Jaya.

Responsibilities

• Assist Contract Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor in complying with and implementing company procedures on all contract administration matters.
• Assist with preparation of progress reports, subcontractors' claims, variation order claims and labour claims.
• Carry out measurement and quantity take-off activities.
• Handle tendering and obtain quotations for tendering purposes.
• Assist in preparing subcontractors' and suppliers' accounts.
• Coordinate with site personnel for verification of site measurement quantities.
• Arrange tender interviews with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Attend all site and subcontractors' meetings.

• Assist with the preparation of progress reports, subcontractors' claims, variation order claims and labour claims
• Familiar and able to carry out measurement and taking-off quantities
• Able to handle tender and obtain quotations for tendering purposes
• Assist in the preparation of subcontractors' and suppliers' accounts
• Liaison with appropriate personnel on the verification of site measurement quantities
• Arrangement for suppliers and/or subcontractors' tender interviews
• Attend all site and subcontractors meetings

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Subang Jaya.
• Preferably Senior Executives/Executive specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
