Mi2-Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to manage tender submissions, cost estimation, contract administration, procurement and financial control across the project lifecycle.
You will review documents, perform cost analysis, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, manage budgets and process claims, while supporting commercial and contractual matters with a proactive, detail‑driven approach.
A Quantity Surveyor role responsible for managing tender submissions, cost estimation, contract administration, procurement, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves reviewing tender documents, conducting cost analysis, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, managing project budgets, processing claims, and supporting commercial and contractual matters.
Key responsibilities
Prepare tender submissions, including quantity take-off, cost estimation, pricing and tender analysis
Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings
Conduct cost analysis and provide cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Administer contracts in accordance with contractual requirements
Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective procurement
Develop procurement strategies and manage procurement activities
Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs and expenditures
Prepare, submit and follow up on monthly progress claims with Clients
Prepare, negotiate, and manage Variation Orders (VO) with clients and subcontractors
Evaluate, process, and certify subcontractors' payment claims
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying
Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsible, meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team
Experience in Interior Fit-out, Addition & Alteration (A&A), Commercial Renovation, and Design & Build projects will be an advantage
Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and subcontractors where required
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, CostX or other QS software will be an advantage
