Job summary

Zhonghai Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified professional to perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, prepare Bills of Quantities for tendering and project execution, and analyze documentation to prepare cost estimates. You will monitor project costs, evaluate subcontractor quotes, and assist with variation orders and final accounts.

The role requires independence, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to liaise with project managers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Prefer candidates that can do measurement or taking off (MUST).
• Must be able to use AutoCad to do measurement (MUST).
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

Requirements:

Proficient in MS Excel.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Prefer Mandarin speaker to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in infrastructure / building projects.

Familiarity with contract forms and tendering processes.
