Linear Crest Petroleum Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a professional Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, measurement, and contract administration for infrastructure and oil & gas projects.
You will perform QTO, prepare BOQ, handle VO, liaise with clients and subcontractors, travel may be required, and support the QS Manager to meet project deadlines with accuracy.
Prepare and submit monthly claims, progress claims, and payment certifications.
Perform Quantity Take-Off (QTO), material computation, and measurement works from project drawings.
Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, project budgets, and cost analysis reports.
Evaluate and manage Variation Orders (VO) and project scope changes.
Assist in resolving contractual issues, claims, and disputes.
Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontract agreements, and Letters of Authorization (LOA).
Verify subcontractor claims and prepare payment certificates.
Assist the Quantity Surveying Manager and Contract Manager in cost control, contract administration, and commercial management activities.
Coordinate and liaise with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Attend site meetings, conduct site visits, and perform site valuations when required.
Assist Project Managers in quantity take-off and cost evaluation for ongoing projects and tender submissions.
Maintain proper project records, contractual correspondence, claims documentation, and project reports.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Contract Management, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, or Contract Administration.
Knowledge of Quantity Take-Off (QTO), Bill of Quantities (BQ), Cost Estimation, Progress Claims, Variation Orders (VO), and Contract Administration.
Experience in handling subcontractor claims, payment certifications, and project cost management.
Familiarity with construction contracts, commercial practices, and project documentation.
Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Projects will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant QS software.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, or stakeholders will be an added advantage.
Willing to travel and conduct site visits when required.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet project deadlines.
