Job summary

ART FACADE SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage costs on façade projects in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. This contract role focuses on budgets, cost estimation, and financial performance, with on-site requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of QS experience, a professional QS qualification, and strong analytical and negotiation skills to support project success.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building and construction practices, materials, and façade systems.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of contract management and Malaysian construction industry standards.
• Experience with tender evaluation and contract documentation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work on-site as required and flexibility to adapt to project demands.

About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join ART FACADE SDN BHD on a contract basis. This position is based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction and façade projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in managing project costs, budgets, and financial performance, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. This position is essential to our operations, as you will be responsible for maintaining financial control and providing accurate cost assessments throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction and façade projects

Managing project budgets and monitoring expenditure to ensure financial controls are maintained

Negotiating with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services
